The Line of Relevance

There’s a lot of talk about relevance on this site. Although it’s somewhat subjective, people generally agree that the line is at the bottom of the Core Four Mids (I.e. pike, PiKapp, psk, and phitau). Why? Well, because the next highest ranked frat, Sammy, has weak srat relations and irregular mixing, as does every frat ranked below them. If you’re looking for a consistent and relevant social presence on campus, you pretty much have to join a frat at or above the C4 mids.

the fact that even AXO would rather mix with either PhiTau or PSK every weekend than give a mixer to Sammy pretty much tells you all you need to know.

Only thing keeping Sammy above KappaSig is their mixers with AEPhi

3 degrees of relevance:

1st Degree = SX through SigPi
Hangout a lot with C4 girls, well known by varsity athletes, top of the social hierarchy

2nd Degree = DX through TDX
Known by C4 but not super close, invited to many of the bigger parties, respected in the social hierarchy

3rd Degree = Pike to PhiTau
Known well by all the mid tier srats, hosts many bigways and occasionally invited to 2nd degree parties, fairly respected
