mixers
by: 2023how many mixers do sororities/fraternities have per week and what days are they typically on? Does the amount of mixers per week depend on the “tier” of the sorority or fraternity? Is mixer attendance required?

Most fraternities will have 2-3 parties a week, but they aren’t always mixers, sometimes the could be brotherhood events or wine tours or formals. Most sororities will attend 2-3 mixers a week and most fraternities will have anywhere between 1-3 mixers a week (only 1 if they are having formals or something else big that weeks). Keep in mind this is the rule of thumb only for fraternities middle tier and above and sororities that are not included in the bottom three. If the house is below that in ranking then they probably would have a hard time regularly finding mixing partners and due to that would have much less events per week. The mandatory/non-mandatory nature of the events is very subjective based on the house.

For wine tours you usually bring a date. There’s a pregame in the morning than you head to the vineyard and if you’re 21 you do tastings and if you’re not you sit outside and drink wine all day in a beautiful place. Great time.
