question about rankings

How are rankings determined? I’m thinking of rushing in the spring but I don’t understand how frats and sororities are ranked. What makes one top tier and a different one lower or middle tier. Do rankings change a lot or always stay generally the same?

^^^true, ranking are mostly based on clout (and ya know attractiveness and likability) and are pretty stupid when it comes to real life. Even based on popularity, within the tiers houses have totally different personalities. You may hate one “top tier” house and love another or you may fall in love with a house that is technically “lower”. Just remember rankings aren’t everything and go with your gut

In all honesty, the only think that ranking actually has an effect on is public opinion, which translates to mixing schedule. But honestly just find a place you fit in.
