First, let me say they are grinding this site like crazy all of a sudden. The desperation is everywhere. They used to be a real top-tier house but they have since slipped A LOT. Two years ago their rush chairs were crying to get more kids because everyone dipped and went to AD and Sig Phi ended up with a very small and bad class. It's a known thing. Then, they had to do well last year to stay alive but everyone who fit their identity (NY/Westchester/LI/CT) went AD or Sig Chi. So, they settled for a wide range of kids where some are cool, but many are creepy with whack international kids to try and be like AD. They lost their identity and it is looking horrible for them. Their seniors last year were amazing since that is the last of the top-tier reputation they had. Now, the new society members realize they are a bunch of weird dudes with no sorority relations only with the name backing up their ego. Sig Phi is truly on a major downfall and we all see it, especially when no girls show up to their mixers even though they have them on the schedule.

The coolest thing about Sigma Phi is their squash court. Psi U has one too, but off limits since the house got kicked off. Sigma Phi definitely lives up to the wealthy reputation.

Many people consider Sigma Phi Society to be THE top fraternity at Cornell. Although that statement is subjective, it's pretty clear that the men of Sigma Phi Society are of top tier caliber.

Think it’s hilarious that they’re obviously spamming fake overly positive reviews but no one calls them out because no house has beef with sig phi rn. Can’t even hate on them, not as much clout as SX/AD, but overall a top and always respectable house. not everyone’s vibe tho, not super sporty either

One of the best bang-for-your-buck houses. Pledging is known to be pretty easy, and in return you get to join the top house and mix exclusively with core four sororities.

Since PsiU is still suspended, Sig Phi is the hardest frat to get a bid from and probably the most exclusive. They rarely mix with other frats, although others try to get them to their bigways.

Sigma Phi Society is far and away the preppiest fraternity, which makes sense given all of the brothers went to boarding school and most are on the squash, polo, or archery teams.

Great house, great brothers, great alum, great squash court, great academics, great intramurals, great campus involvement, great activism, great philanthropy.

Despite what people might argue on greekrank, Sig Phi is still top tier and part of the core four (Sigma Chi, Sigma Phi Society, Alpha Delta Phi, and Delta Upsilon).
