message to all our greek life directiors

Yall are not a government. Yall are not dictators. And most importantly, yall should not be interfering with students lives to the extent that you are. Cracking down on greek life - okay, I get it. You catch and institution red handed hazing and I get it, you have to kick them off. You catch someone with alcohol in their house and you give them social probation - that's a little unrealistic to assume college kids (some 21) wont have alcohol in there houses but still, that's cool.
You, however, are not here to dictate greek life. You are not here to pick and chose which fraternities you have it out for and which ones you think are acceptable and want to rise. It isn't fair to us but mostly it isn't fair to rushees. Almost 50% of all freshman guys rushed. That's half the student body for males and you ruined something they couldn't have had higher expectations for. From the moment rush was moved to the convention center it's clear the IFC has been trying to manipulate our student affairs and in doing so has ruined the integrity of a huge selling point of this school and a part of student life that we have the liberty to enjoy.
Lets take a stand and speak out against this BS!!!!

To add another grievance - since when do we not have the right to assemble? If there is an open party and a freshman guy happens to catch wind from a freshman girl and she brings him along and the guy throwing the party happens to be a Lambda Chi (strictly for using a hypothetical example). Well then yeah maybe guys rushing and guys in a fraternity will be assembling together (dispersed throughout many other party goers), but how is that honestly any different from when rushees are at a bar hanging out and meet frat guys there?

... Not only breached the Carolina Creed, they have breached individual rights, the right to due process, and committed libel and slander when it turns out these fraternities are innocent. So thank you SC FSL offices you have made yourselves look absolutely terrible and I can't wait til we get to do the same thing you did to us, to you.

im in one of the groups that somehow escaped this list - but we've been unfairly targeted and punished before.
just want yall to know everyone in my fraternity is just as pissed and I imagine the other fraternities are as well (besides Beta of course). just because we aren't in trouble (for nothing) doesn't mean there won't be a next time. because with these dbags, there will always be a next time. we need to stand together and take some kind of action or be heard. This is utter BS.

yeah, I would assume that Beta is celebrating their good fortune. Wonder how many pnms will run like hell in the opposite direction now that they see what Beta is really like
