whats sad is having different chapters open up at this school is the more they open up the more diminish the meaning of being greek. What it becomes is nothing more than a participation trophy, and just creates a further class division (in this case, tiers) between "top" house and and "bottom" houses.

the % of people going greek is remaining the same. usc opens up new chapters based on growth in rush. quit being a part of the problem

is that a bad thing? I think it's great that there are more options and because it does make the top 6 fraternities and sororities more competitive. we want the best here.

Also having more houses makes it better to have a values based recruitment. Having more options makes it easier for PNMs to find a place that aligns with their values and has similar girls to them. Pledge classes can be smaller and sisterhood can be stronger.

It's best to thin out the estrogen.
