Honey, your source was wrong. Maybe they got it confused with a different house? I know the top two return rates from round 3 at least (which is when they decrease significantly) and neither were pi phi

I am a Pi Phi and I'll just go ahead and tell you our return rates for round 1 and round 2

Round 1: 80%
Round 2: 85%

I don't know what it was from round 3 because we weren't told.

Just so you know- we as a chapter wanted to drop a lot of people, but Panhellenic policy doesn't let new chapters drop like any PNMs unless they are grade risks. We dropped a couple hundred after round 3 because that's when we could drop people.

I'm writing this because I don't think people know how membership selection works for new chapters. There's not a whole lot we can do essentially. That goes for any new chapter. Not because we couldn't 'get anyone'

Just telling the facts how it is.

Any new sorority will have a lower return rate...because they're new...some girls never went through formal recruitment yet they had to now recruit
Pi Phi had one of if not the best return rates for a brand new sorority on campus their first year of formal recruitment
