Going into round 3 and pref no doubt have the highest amount of cuts for PNM'S. That's how it is at every school though because just simply think about the math. Every round most sororities (depending on previous return rates) are probably cutting close to half the girls that walk in, that's just how it works. That's why it's so so so important to stand out and be yourself and have great conversation, especially during these rounds! Just remember that the houses you do go back to felt that you stood out and they want you to be a part of their sisterhood and remembered you among hundreds of other faces! That's why it's important to give every house a chance come this point of recruitment even if you may be disappointed by your list.

yes, many houses do cut at least 1000 girls after round 1. Obviously if you have 5 houses today that you love there's a good chance you will pref at least one of them. It's different for every person, you can't predict what you'll get back. It's just important that today you really focus on conversation and see if you can picture yourself in the houses you walk into.

So my daughter is still with 5 and I think she likes all of them quite a bit or maybe likes 4 of the 5. She can only pick two tonite, right? So what happens if neither of those two pick her? She would probably be thrilled to get a bid from 2 of the others. Is she dropped or do they look and see if any of the others wanted her?

Yes, there's a possibility that she could end up preffing two of the houses she doesn't choose. When she votes tonight she'll select two houses (her top choices) and then rank her bottom three. This, along with the mutual selection process allows houses she has dropped to come back so to say on her list for the next round if they invite her back.

there are no "chances" you can't put a percentage on it. There's a "good" chance she'll get at least one of them back but she could also not get either of them or maybe she will get both. It all depends on what other PNM's want and what the sororities want and how that all works out.

Look up RFM on Google, there's also some pretty good stuff about it on Greek chat. That's the system we use.

I heard some houses cut 1000 first round -- what are the chances of being cut by all 5 of my favorites after this round?
