i totally put off recs and have zero done how much is it going to hurt me? Are there any houses that care about them a lot? I'm sure this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it

It's not an issue at all, we aren't like Alabama! It's just a little bonus if you do have them, but even if you do have them they might not be read at all. You will be completely fine without them.

So there are no chapters here that require a rec to get a bid?

It really doesn't matter, recs are like the last thing anyone considers when they pick who to give bids to
