USC does not offer a formal spring recruitment, only about 3-4 chapters participate and host events individually. So if you want to get a feel for all 12 chapters, it would be best to rush in the fall.

It varies from year to year, but usually you can count on a few chapters participating. Gamma Phi Beta doesn't usually meet total, and Pi Beta Phi will definitely have to for a few years until they're up to standard chapter size. A lot of chapters didn't have to this past year because there was an issue with the way total was set in the fall, so they reset it in the spring.
