rush
by: PNMAnyone know how many girls have signed up for rush so far? Also, I read somewhere that chapters will be taking less girls this year because the "chapter totals" were reduced . What does this mean? Thanks

A lot of girls. Over 1200 last time Sorority Council posted about it. They're expecting 2000.
Chapter totals (the number of girls a chapter needs to have to be considered in good standing with panhellenic) won't be decided until they know how many girls are returning from each chapter, and how many girls sign up for recruitment. They do a very good job of setting total here so that sororities are required to keep pretty much 95% of PNM's so that won't be an issue.

The way the system is set up is to help the PNM get placed as much as possible. If you maximize your options, you shouldn't have a problem. If you only focus on "top 6" you're hurting yourself.
