how hard is getting into a top 6 frat?
by: SoJust wondering because my friend didn't get a bid last year and he said out of the 1,500 kids that rushed each of the top frats only took about 30 kids each which would mean only about 10% of kids get bids to SAE, Sigma Chi, Chi Psi, KA, Pi Kapp or Sig Nu. Seems slim and I only know about one or two kids in all those frats combined. Whats the biggest difference between those frats and say ATO or Phi Sig??

Only girls say top 6. You'll learn that when you get balled from all the top 19 houses on campus including ATO for saying that

It's not "hard" it's just all who you know. If you don't know anyone in those frats then work hard your first weeks of college to find a connection that'll get you in touch with them or to their rush events. If you have good friends in any frat you have at least a 50/50 shot but if you just kinda know someone from HS in them then that's a little less but certainly doable IF you're what they want.
ATO and Phi Sig are still fun, have mixers (ATO mixed with ADPi and Phi Sig mixed with ZTA for example) but those frats certainly wont know as many people or be in the main tailgate lots next year. On events like halloween and such their parties will be slightly, but noticably less crowded and the girls might not all be from upper tier sororities there.
Outside the top 6, phi sig, aepi, lambda, and maybe beta/theta chi/ato are worth it as of right now.

do you even go to USC? Lambda, theta chi, and ATO are all terrible. Jesus christ, all ATOs, lambdas, and Theta Chis need to GTFO this website and stop rating yourselves so damn highly. No one on this campus thinks y'all are good

Beta - please shut up. I know you think you're making more kids wanna get bids to your frat, but you're just scaring away potential rushees and ruining the atmosphere for all of us by acting like such queers on this website. Please please stop ruining greek life for everyone. Yall are the same kids that used to call the cops on Phi Sig parties and you've always been jealous and hateful. I love any frat on this campus that contributes to Greek Life but yall, DU and TDX are the only ones i can think of with nothing to give.

I'm in what queers on this website call a "top 6" fraternity (that phrase still gets me every time) and don't listen to the Beta's that spout this nonsense cause they want to maintain rushees even after getting kicked off campus.
ATO and Lambda have a much brighter future than Beta and Phi Sig. All four are awesome and I'd still join any of em before being a GDI. They all have a lot of tight dudes that pull.
Now stop trying to launch cyber warfare to persuade rushees you queers your making people not want to rush.
(Not all of us act like Betas)
