fraternity rush

I'll be transferring to USC either in the fall or spring (still on the fence) and am very interested in joining a fraternity. I'll be a sophomore, but I'm old for my grade and will be turning 21 in September. Is it possible to receive a bid this late and at this age? I had stayed close to home because we had just moved and my grandmother was very sick.
