Hi ladies!
From the FSL website:
While the University of South Carolina’s Sorority Council does not require a specific GPA to participate in the primary recruitment or be a sorority member, the individual chapters establish their own requirements and strongly adhere to these grade requirements. If your high school or college GPA is below a 2.75, you may be considered a “grade risk” and experience significantly fewer invitations throughout the recruitment process compared to participants with higher GPAs.
Also, ADPi and Chi O are both known for cutting for grades, and I can almost guarantee you their cutoffs are 3.0 or possibly higher.
You will have a great chance of rushing as a junior because upperclassmen are judged in a separate pool from freshmen and there are separate quotas for these two different categories. In other words, you're competing against a lot less girls as an upperclassmen.
