Does the area of where one is from make that big of a difference during rush?

For sororities, no. For fraternities, yes.

They'll tell you that KD only takes southerners but I know plenty from Pennsylvania and other northern states. Same with ADPi or anywhere else on the sorority front. Fraternities, yes, yes it does.
