by: kidI was wondering if I will be able to get into a top tier fraternity although I am from New Jersey. Although I am from New Jersey I am a staunch conservative, enjoy hunting, play football, hockey, and baseball and I am very preppy. I plan on being involved with student government and currently hold an internship at a top NY brokerage firm. I just wanted to know my chances of being selected for a top tier fraternity. I would like to point out that I am nothing like "Jersey Shore".

yeahhhhh actually I think there is a noticeable difference between pi Kapp and xpsi. not saying one is "better" than the other, just a different geographic / social class background they are pulling from.

Agreed. Or if you really don't give off the jersey vibe at all, a good candidate for pi kapp. neither fraternity are top tier, but they are definitely the two top after that. chi psi has a majority Yankee brothers, which pi kapp is more southern / dc, but also has some Yankees.
