Since I didn't get contacted by a sorority I'm thinking about trying out Pi Phi and going to their events this weekend because in the fall ill be a junior and I know many houses don't accept juniors! Could someone give me their opinion about what they would do? Thanks!

Give it a shot. I've met some awesome girls. Some not so but what do you expect not every sorority is perfect. Go see for yourself and you may really enjoy it

I did this with AGD-- I was on their spring recruitment list, so I went and met the girls and stuff, but ultimately I decided that I really wanted to get a taste of all the houses and went on to do fall recruitment, ended up in a different sorority and absolutely love it. Definitely give Pi Phi a chance, but there will always be that "what could have been?" question if you don't rush in the fall (unless you think Pi Phi is everything you're looking for in a sisterhood, because if it is then definitely do it!)

You will still get a bid if you're a junior!!! There were 3 in my pi chi group and they all got bids. This way you can have a chance to see all the houses, including piphi

She's right. Juniors get bids. I even know seniors who got bids.

You'll never know if you don't try it, but even if you don't like it you can always drop. Also, it might be a good way to get a taste of formal recruitment!
