Quick question: joining a sorority in the spring do you pay the same price as if you were joining in the fall? I just don't know if you pay by the semester or pay for the whole year!

You pay per semester! So you'll pay the designated "new member dues" and then next fall and spring and so forth you'll pay regular member dues.

However some sororities do it differently- my friend in Phi Mu said that they do it per month, and I know my friend in Gamma Phi has had several different payment dates. But I don't know of anyone doing it per year.
