chances
by: PA girlhey guys I'm from PA, in a town near NJ. I plan to do sorority rush next year and I wanted to know what my chances were for getting into ZTA or ADPi since I'm not from the south.... I am blonde and already kinda popular with the class of 2019 and I'm really outgoing, would being from the north really hurt me that much? Thanks guys!

You're already messing up with recruitment. I don't care if you're the most popular girl in all of PA. If you think you know what sorority you want before even stepping foot on campus then you aren't joining for the right reasons. Get off this website, and do your research of each chapter through their websites. Once you get to campus just listen to your Pi Chis and things will work as they should.

coming from a girl that spent months on end reading through this website pre-recruitment... DONT listen to what anyone says on this here. The sorority I thought I would love based off of GreekRank, I actually ended up not liking at all during recruitment. Yea, some of the stereotypes on here tend to be true, but you know which house is for you when you step inside of it during recruitment. Everyone likes different houses for different reasons, so just being an adpi or zeta won't guarantee you this "popularity" you seem to have in high school (which btw do not even think about speaking of during recruitment). It may be hard, but try to avoid the gossip on here, it's all bs and you'll realize once you're at usc that every post on here is strictly opinion. Just trying to help.. good luck in August!!

We take girls from the north west you name it, and being blonde and popular doesnt get you far, there are 1200 other blonde cheer captains rushing too. There are so many great sororities at USC, wait until rush to make decisions. I love the house I chose but went in thinking I would want another house based on what I heard from friends.

That's not true. I'm in ZTA and there are plenty of northern girls in our class! Don't be worried as long as you carry good conversations during rush! You will end up where you need to be
