informal recruitment resume

A good "resume" can make or break your chances of getting a bid. The website provides good weight when deciding if an individual should be given a chance.

For example; Someone who is very bad fit with the ideals of our fraternity and doesn't embody what we stand for (or show potential for doing so)... meaning they are loud, rowdy, and show little self control even in controlled settings would not get a bid regardless of how spectacular they look on the website with their 3.89 and copious amounts of extracurriculars.

However, If I see a spectacular resume that stands above the rest I will reach out to them as potential recruits. I would informally invite them and see if they are brotherhood material.

I don't think many fraternities view the website enough though, especially for spring rush. You can let guys know that you're interested and they can see if they have a shot...

I know for a fact that it plays a major role with sororities.
