MOST EVERY sorority will have to give out bids in the spring since the university raised quota from 320 to 380 and sisters sometimes sever their membership throughout the year.

so if i don't know a lot of girls in the sororities that are rushing in the spring then i might as well just wait to rush in the fall as a sophomore?

rushing now gives you a very limited chance to join only a few sororities, and its a bit harder because its not like you have 5 chances to go into the house and talk to 5 or more girls throughout the week like you do during formal fall rush. Rushing as a sophomore does not hurt your chances at all and it gives you an equal shot at each house!
