pi beta phi
by: PNMIt says in the Rush material that Pi Beta Phi is recolonizing here. Anybody know why they left in the first place?

At their presentation they said, and demonstrated, a strong Alumni presence. This will help them with recolonization. And the numbers of girls rushing has been steadily increasing each year which is why USC has been getting a lot of new sororities over the years. With so many girls rushing I don't think numbers will be an issue for them anytime soon.
Also by recolonizing there will be a Pi Phi at every SEC school which is something they wanted to accomplish.

Was on campus from 1935 to 1985, so while they struggled with numbers, they still have a decent alumnae base. Plus Pi Phi is so strong nationally that they're bound to be pouring a lot of money into the recolonization. I think they'll do great.

Right...You sound like an alum trying to make them sound good. No one really wants to join a new sorority.

"yeah" you are completely wrong some people love the idea of being apart of something new it's a completely different experience just ask any phi mu or alpha gam

you’re honestly right they probably will. but pi phi is a great national sorority so i’m glad we are getting a chapter here. agd is kinda like eh who really cares

Their nationals have expressed interest in a house and have shown they're financially capable. It really all comes down to if/when USC begins Phase II of Greek Village.

Low membership in the 1980's forced them to close. However pi phi is very strong nationally and has strong support nationwide so they have recolonized. The hope is by adding a strong sorrority such as Pi Beta Phi that there will be less girls pledging for each chapter to help bring the numbers down in all of the sororities.

Are there more girls here now? Is that why they think they will be successful now and are giving USC another try?
