Although I agree with those saying you'll probably get where you fit best, the great thing about rushing is finding out where you end up. And- if you end up getting a bid to a sorority you aren't totally happy with, you have until initiation to decide if you really want to be in that sorority. If you decide you don't like it, you can drop it and rush again the next fall if you want. If you wait to drop after initiation, unfortunately you won't be able to rush again unless you transfer schools. Initiations for sororities vary, but you should have a couple weeks if not months to get a feel for it. Hope this helps!

Also, ignore the "top tier" stuff. All of the sororities are great and have their own unique vibe. Just see where you end up and figure out what to do from there. I promise most people don't give a crap which sorority you're in, they just see it as you're a "sorority girl"

Once you initiate, you cannot ever be in a different sorority, even if you change schools. A lot of girls don’t end up where they thought they would. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t. The only way you’ll know is if you give it a try. Nobody really cares about “tiers” after the first year, anyway.
