no show on bid day

last year, one of my friends rushed and she went all the way through recruitment and it got to bid day and it wasn't the house she was hoping for. she ended up not going to bid day. she still ended up joining that sorority and what not despite not attending the bid day festivities. what happens in that case? like what happens if a girl doesn't show up and "run home"? what do they do with her name sign and bag etc.?

I’d be really curious to know the story of how she ended up there still... but you just pointed out more reasons why it’s pretty crappy to not accept your bid on bid day. Those girls are excited to see you and someone does that?

Perhaps she got over herself if her pi chi or someone from the chapter was able to talk her off that ledge and get her to go ahead and give them a chance. Especially since she had no other options after that for a year.
