I am from the midwest and I was wondering which sororities usually take people who are not from the south and which ones typically only take southern or in-state girls?

Not true at all, considering I'm in one of them and have friends in all of them and know girls that are not from the south in each.

I'm rushing this year as a Sophomore. I know girls in those sororities mentioned from all over too. Not specifically from the midwest, but from Ca., Ct., and Ma. I don't know why anyone would discriminate against someone from the midwest.

@stop haha so funny because I rushed as a sophomore and preffed two top tiers--so you can go shave your back hair now. If anything, you have an ADVANTAGE as a sophomore! Don't worry!

I didn't rush last year because I wanted to concentrate on my studies freshman year. Got a 4.0 GPA for my efforts. Can you say that "stop"? I have to say, some of you sorority girls are so quick to judge and just assume things about people. Please give everyone a fair chance in recruitment. Thank you.

nice try, no one is going to believe that you chose not to rush freshman year. and btw if you did rush freshman year, there is a record on your rush profile that will tell us this. it will say you rushed as a freshman. just know that

@ truth you would be surprised at the amount of sororities in southern schools discriminate against girls who are not southern. Typically the top tier ones which I have no idea why they would...

I am from the midwest and in Adpi so bs on the girl that said adpi won't take you! be your self and just love rushing everything will work out on how it will suppose too!
