Recs aren't important. If you can get them without stressing then go for it, but don't strain yourself trying to get recs. No sorority cares that your mom's boss' friend's sister thinks you may be good for a different chapter of a sorority she was in 30 years ago. If they know you well then yes. Otherwise they don't matter.

Ask your mom, your mom's friends, teachers, coaches, etc. You can go to your local alumna chapter of the sorority but honestly the recs don't mean much. I recommend only getting recs from people who truly know you and your family. Rec letters don't do much for the overall process of recruitment so I wouldn't stress if you can't find people to write them.
