SK is no where near a top house. they are lower middle tier and take top tier and upper middle rejects.

doesn't take "rejects" most girls during rush in the end CHOSE the house they go to.. regardless of which sorority they join. Thats such a wrong message.

The fraternities you paired the sororities with are completely wrong. I am in a fraternity and you are nowhere near accurate.

with below. I preffed SK during rush. Honestly, they seemed to me to have the best sisterhood of all the houses I went to. Some top houses (Phi Mu, ADPi, Kappa specifically) came off as snobby and fake - just concerned with money and looks. yeah SK isn't a top sorority, but look at what criteria is used to judge the "top houses"... so superficial, it's sad.

Here is the lowdown on SK. They are a bottom middle house. That's it people. No hate intended, just being honest. They have been known to be the queens of self ranking(behind AOPi). They have over 1239 rankings on this site. If you go look at their board you will see tons of self ranking. I think self ranking is dumb and shows that you are insecure within your own sorority. If you love your house then show it to the PNMs in AUgust during rush. Stop looking so desperate SK.

the only girls who CHOOSE sigma kappa are the ones who are preffing other houses that are worse than SK (ie. DG, AGD, SDT) But no girls start out recruitment saying "I want to go SK"

EVERYONE self ranks and honestly who cares if they do or not.. is it affecting you or are you so insecure about your own house if they self rank themselves above yours it will make yours look bad?... I look on this board and see SK also gets a lot of hate that has nothing to do with the self ranking.. you can show your love for your sorority on this site if you want.. its not going to affect ANYTHING in Aug. And to the girls who preffed worse houses I know for a fact thats not true.. maybe some did but the majority don't get real.. they may start out not saying I want to go SK but during rush they manage to pull out good pledge classes and get girls who preffed TOP houses.

your going to get onto SK maybe you should also look at the following houses:
Theta: Even has been beating SK in self ranks the past week
DG and AGD maybe even more than that
PhiMu.. "#1 with PNM's"- doubt anyone BUT a PM would say that...
DDD- More subtle but its funny how they end up with a LOT of rankings of all 4's and 5's ..
EVERYONE self ranks. EVERYONE.. and everyone is accused of it with the Line "your embarrassing your sorority or PNMs will know where you stand" yeah right. The people who gives ones are the insecure ones to not have the PRIDE to give their house the rankings they think they deserve.. or the other houses the rankings they really deserve.

I love how you threw in old row.. but they ALL self rank.. go look for yourself.. just saying.
