They’re fine where they’re at. Both recruit with better retention rates than Delta Sig who continue to blanket bid to offset it, and definitely recruit better than Phi Delt.

KappaSig and pikapp are UNG central, and the same level if not worse than pike. The houses are all over this website which is how they can give every negative comment 50 thumbs down in 2 days lmao

When KS got suspended in 2014 and PKP in 2016, no one is denying they resorted to picking up some UNG guys to fill out pledge classes. however, if you think they’re the only ones to do it, you’d be wrong. Chi Phi and SAE have picked up UNG guys. Sigma Chi even had rush specifically for UNG guys up until recently. With Greek life being under a microscope in today’s climate and under constant scrutiny, no fraternity who’s still coming back off a suspension is going to risk picking up UNG students anymore.

IDK do to attend UGA? I haves tended for almost 3 years ( not in a fraternity and probably know who I am ). SNU and KA had the best fall pledges IMO . ATO and SAE absolutely struggled fall. Yes Chi Phi took many UNG guys . Sigma Chi I should note has some good pledges as well . I like all of these guys and they are supportive DT.

Obviously the retention rate thing isn’t a big deal when it comes to house reputation. delta sig and sn will bid a ton of guys and then a quarter or so don’t even get initiated but it’s not like they’re thought of as “less than” because of it. who cares i guess lol

Retention rates are very important and its more like a third of the class or more dropping every year.
Yes people do think less of SN and DSP because of it. Idk what you are trying to pull here.

If it mattered SN wouldn’t be thought of as top here. ya, they may lose a lot of guys but the ones they hold onto obviously are solid if they maintain such a good reputation. Just my opinion

Lets be honest, blanket bidding a bunch of guys no one else in the top 12 bid then having a third of them drop isn't a good look. It's also a recipe to have some of the good guys you did get drop and get stuck with the guys who aren't as cool. There aren't a lot of people that see them as top 6 like this post says, its just SN up voting their own post.
Instead of just throwing random bids they could try and put more effort in their rushing process to better evaluate guys. That way they could get a better idea of who they would like to keep and who they should drop. Also it would help retention rates a lot. Most of the other top 12 groups other than Fiji and DeltaSig seem to have that down, that includes KA SAE ChiPhi ATO SX PDT, and even rising groups like PKA PKP and KS have a better bidding process and retention rates.
It's also embarrassing for them getting the amount of UNG guys they get. Pretty sure they are the only top 8 group that bid UNG guys, no chiphi did not. Idk who said they did but i can tell you with 100% certainty they didn't. SN isn't a bad group but they have a long way to go.

With all the UNG talk, did anyone really bid up UNG kids this past fall? I understood from the leadership at my frat that IFC threatened huge penalties and fines for having UNG guys and no one was going to do it. No denying there were UNG guys in the past.

SN is all over greek rank spreading lies and trying to act like because they can bid a bunch of geeds and have most of them decide theyd rather not join SN that it makes them top.

Highly doubt SN, dsig, or FIJI blanket bids. Have you seen their PCs? I don’t think any of them even bid a single UNG kid, and I don’t even think any of them even had more than 3 people drop. I heard FIJI had like 3. Does anyone even think old row frats top even in top 8 besides KA pretty much being best frat on campus?
