rushing as a junior transfer
by: transferI'm planning on transferring next year and I want to rush and join a sorority. I know it'll be harder as a junior, but I'm probably going to have to be there an extra year because of my minor. Is there any chance I could get a bid?

I also rushed as a junior and ended up preffing a sorority that according to greekrank is “top” and a sorority that is considered “bottom”. The houses had we’re polar opposites and honestly I didn’t feel like I belonged in either of them. I hate that it is this way, but it did hurt my self esteem for a while. It honestly was really hard and emotionally draining, but it’s definitely not impossible to find the house for you. It doesn’t hurt to try, but just know there are quotas that make it a lot more difficult for upperclassmen, especially juniors, SO DONT TAKE ANYTHING PERSONAL (I know it’s hard not to)!! Go in with an open mind and be yourself!!! Also if it doesn’t work out for you I promise there are a billion other things you can get involved with on campus & Greek life isn't everything, even if it feels like it is. Good luck :))
