what percentage of students are in frats & sororities
by: QuestionI'm just wondering if most students are in frats and sororities, or if a lot of students don't join. It seems like it might take a lot of time to join one and I'm concerned about how much time the meetings take each week. It seems like a good way to meet people, but I think I will make a lot of friends in my dorm too.

You can google it, but I'mma pull stuff I remember from a year ago. So, around 22 percent of males in UGA are in fraternities. And 33 percent of girls in UGA are in sororities. Definitely, more girls than guys here. Don't be surprised if you see sorority girls start hooking up or dating with student athletes from UGA/other schools or GDI's up to their standards.

There are so many students that you don't have to be in a sorority or frat to have fun. It does help you get to know a lot of people tho and the socials are fun.
