helping chances with rush
by: godawgsI am currently a first year but I plan to rush in the fall as a sophomore. A friend of one of the houses invited me to meet their VP of recruitment during one of their philanthropy events. WIll this help my chances during rush?

You have a better chance at any house where you already know people who want you in their house and will pull for you. But there are no guarantees. And a connection at a certain house only matters for that one house; there are many others so you need to be open-minded.
