2018 overall ranks

Because 1 PC makes a difference but doesn’t change the entire chapter. This year really was totally different than other years though.
Top: KD, Kappa, Theta, AOPi,
Lower top: ADPi, Zeta, DDD, Chi O, Phi Mu
Mid: SK, DZ, Gamma Phi,
Lower Mid: AXO, Pi Phi, DG, Alpha Gam
Bottom: APhi, SDT, DPhIE
Some notes:
KD, AOPi, DDD, and Gamma Phi KILLED IT THIS YEAR! So impressed with their PCs, especially AOPi and Gamma Phi
Kappa, SK, DG, and APhi had a really strong year as well.
Unfortunately when a chapter does better than usual, that conversly means that other chapters didn’t do as well that year, which is why people downvote pretty much every rank. But that doesn’t mean that the houses that struggles are good houses!
This is UGA and the vast majority of PNMs who get a bid are wonderful people who could be a great asset to any chapter. I know it’s hard to see a chapter you compete with do well, but we should support each other and realize that no sorority is bad, even if their rank is comparatively lower one year!

I agree with most of this, except that I’d switch Zeta and Chi O since Chi O got a fantastic PC last year.
I’d also move Pi Phi between APhi and SDT. Their PC last year was comparable to AGD and their PC this year was on par with DPhiE. Their upperclassmen are solid mid tier, but they’ve really struggled to recruit 2 years in a row and seem to be losing a ton of girls to the new chapters.
100% agree that no sorority is bad at all though! The “bottom” chapters get better each year as UGA gets more and more competitive, so a chapter really have to show significant improvement to not move down in the ranks by default and both DPhiE and Pi Phi got plenty of beautiful, amazing new members!

I prefed at Pi Phi and Alpha Gam. I personally really liked both houses and really struggled with which to rank first, but I have to say a lot of the other PNMs in my pref round at Pi Phi were upset because they didn’t get invited to a second house or their second house was one of the newer chapters.
I definitely get people saying that Pi Phi got one of the weaker PCs this year because of that, but I would have also been totally happy to end up there and think they seem very genuine!

I don’t think it’s so much that Pi Phi is getting worse, it’s just that Gamma Phi, Alpha Gam and DG all pulled amazing PCs, DPhIE is getting more competitive each year, and APhi was able to get some girls who otherwise might have ended up at lower mid houses. Then DZ, SK, and DDD are also improving, so AXO and Pi Phi just couldn’t keep up this year.

I never understood all the pi phi hate.
They're involved, mix with decent frats, and from what I've seen and heard, they seem to actually like each other.
I agree it feels like they've struggled with rush, but the last PC had dope girls. I think the newest PC is solid middle tier-- no more, but no less by any means. Equating pi phi to dphie is sooo far off though. The two sororitys dont rush the same girls whatsoever.
