AXO at UGA is a true southern belle sorority. Where the “old row” sororities seem to fav the new money girls, Alpha Chis are the definition of old money. They wear pearls passed down from grandmothers. Their families have money bc they believe in hard work & leaving an inheritance which usually includes a family farm or a lot of land. The girls are mainly from GA but not from large cities or the Atl suburbs. They grew up on acres of land (not lots) learning how to hunt and play tennis (or golf). They party at socials on Thursdays, hit the bars on Sats, and go to church on Sundays.
