greek banquet at a bar

In all seriousness, who decided that having a semi formal banquet that no one attends in the first place at a bar was a good idea? Regardless of if you rented out the entire venue, it’s just a bar and people still don’t want to attend. Glc has gone downhill since none of you actually do anything besides planning these events people don’t want to attend.

What was the 10$ cover actually for? The “photographer” was an OSig pledge. The venue was free. Where are the profits going for this? Greek Olympics and banquet better be lit next year, and damn near free. Greek council is a joke. It’s run so terribly lmao

None of you actually do anything on glc. Someone said that it’s a way of pretending that you’re more involved in greek life for your resume when running for positions in your own org and I couldn’t agree more. Glc is pointless when you make events that no one wants to go to and charge a cover for things that you got for free. All organizations communicate with one another so they don’t need you as the middle ground. Quit planning lame events and acting like you’re more important than you are

If you don’t see change or like what’s going on than how about you do something. Don’t complain if you’re not going to do anything to help
