Here is the truth.
In order to get bids from certain frats/strats you have to know someone going in. These are in no order:
Beta, Chi-o, & Kappa
Lambda, KA, Pike, Chi Psi, SAE, & Machi
DKE has fallen off so much that they are getting desperate for members. They were considered to be more selective until recently. Very bad scandals(including the most recent assault allegations)have plagued them. WFU will never let them back on campus.
These frats/strats will be less selective and they are easier to get a bid from:
DZ, KD, & DDD
SigPi, ASig, & DKE
These take the leftovers but some still want to be in these less traditional frats/strats:
Theta & ADPi
Tachi, KSig, PiKapp(new and on the come-up), & AEPi

DKE will never be recognized on campus because it doesn't seem to be on campus.
DKE has never been on campus since its founding in 1970. It has been at its current location since 1980.
DKE has been nationally recognized continuously since its founding in 1970.
It was was in IFC since its founding but not recognized by WFU until 1992. It is now again not recognized by WFU since 2018.
I doubt DKE will be recognized by WFU any time soon because the withdrawal of the charter in 2018 requires a four-year period of inactivity to be allowed to reapply. That was never going to happen. We have not been recognized by WFU more of our 52 years than we have been. This is unusual for Wake but not unusual at universities nationally.
Don't care about this ranking stuff. Just some factual clarifications.

Oh good lord this is pathetic.
YOU WERE KICKED OFF IN 2018 FOR VERY BAD BEHAVIOR AND NEVER INVITED BACK.
Don’t make it seem like you don’t want to be recognized by WFU. Spring 2022 was the time to be recognized again and guess what? No dice for you.
End of story.
