blood oaths (ooooooo scary lol)

hey yall
so i wanna join a sorority but my mom is against it bc she thinks they take blood oaths and also bc PHC are majority white (i’m black) and there might be discrimination
and it’s kinda been getting to to me bc i dont know much about sororities but can anyone tell me if those two things are true to smooth my mind bc i’ve heard some horror stories of ppl in sororities at other schools but people at LSU seem nice

Hi girly! I’m a fellow POC in PHC recruitment. I can promise you the only blood you might receive during recruitment is from blisters on your ankles from walking haha. All jokes aside blood oaths aren’t a thing. I’m pretty sure that’s how AID and shiz gets spread. Also a lot of chapter have a lot of diversity in them actually. You won’t see much in like XO, DDD, or KD (it’s the truth) but as far as the other ones yes.
