Should PNMs reach out?

As a PNM, should we message a sorority/active if we are interested or wait for them to reach out first? What do actives think about us reaching out to them? Since recruitment is virtual this year they don’t really have a chance to get to know us until philanthropy round and we only get to make choices based on videos..?
