fraternity rush tips
by: AAAI am coming from out of state so don't know any guys currently in fraternities. How difficult is it to get a bid into fraternities and it there anything I should do to put myself in a better position?

Just use every connection you can. Be someone that they won't forget, we see hundred of guys a week through events and we forget about a lot of them. Be someone we can talk about when choosing our PCs. And a tip is to make it around to every fraternity, have a open mind and don't judge. If your at an event and your by yourself standing around or in a semi awkward conversation and it just doesn't feel right, but you want that bid cause a couple bias people said they're good, then just move on. Don't waste time somewhere that doesn't want you cause that's how you don't get a bid. Bids aren't guaranteed at all and a lot of people don't get them, it's becoming relatively hard now. I hate to see anybody suicide rush a single fraternity and then become a geed just because of othe people's opinion.

You have many good groups that will have formal recruitment. Some of the most well thought of and involved will be options. This will work out too.
