dropped
by: HonestlyHow many girls on average get dropped from recruitment every year?

Last recruitment we saw a lot of girls drop out for many reasons. But I would have to say most of them dropped out themselves. It is very uncommon for girls to not get a house of they maximize their options and keep an open mind. A lot of girls drop out because they have their heart set on a sorority from day 1 and they get dropped by them and become discouraged. The best thing you can do is keep and open mind and be thankful for ALL of the houses that invite you back. Don't go in thinking you know where you belong, because you don't.

Being dropped and receiving no bid just doesn't happen if you follow the rules. Go into every house each day with respect and a open heart and you will make it through the process just fine. Each house has good qualities here and are different than any other campus. So, if a group is offering you friendship but appreciative and excited.

I have heard there was a higher number than normal which did not receive bids because our school keeps growing while a new sorority will not join us until 2016. It's hard to know if someone self destructed or quit because they didn't want to be in the houses they had left or if they truly had no invites back.

If you maximize ALL of your invites EVERY day it is rare to not get a bid. IF you think you will only accept a couple of houses you ruin those odds. Plus if a house doesn't want you why do you want them?
