waitlisted

I just got a letter from TCU admissions that I'm waitlisted. I'll be a freshman, and I applied to TCU's College of Fine Arts. Does anyone know my chances of getting accepted in the fall, or what steps I should take next? TCU is my first choice. Thanks for your help.

I'd email them with any updated improvements, awards, honors etc. and let them know that you are still very interested.

Depending on how your audition went, you still have a good chance. As long as the college of fine arts and whoever you are contacting about being admitted (choir director, band director, etc) knows that you are waitlisted, they can have a big pull with admissions and getting you taken off the waitlist.

If this is your first choice for a fine arts school, AND you got wait listed then you are pretty bad!!!! What does any of this have to do with Greek life?

Usually when you are wait listed they are waiting to see final grades, more accomplishments, etc. Like said before keep them updated on such things and keep in touch with your admissions counselor, ask him or her what you can do and let them know/see you are really set on going to TCU.
