letter of recs
by: V confusedHey! I'm planning on enrolling and participating in fall rush. I'm not a legacy and I only have a couple people I know that could write a rec for me... Is this really bad?? Also, do most people get into a house if they stayed with the rush process the entire time? Thanks in advance!!

Rec letters are extremely important. Your parents can probably get letters for you by posting the need for them on their Facebook page. It is always better to get people who know you to write them. Your local Panhellenic group is also another place to start. Don't wait to late to begin working on these. It is the first way you are introduced to our members if you don't know anyone here.

You can ask teachers, coaches, older friends, parents co-workers...It is worth the extra time and you will be surprised at how quickly these people can be found. If they don't know you well just give them a copy of your high school resume for college applications and they should be able to list your merits. Most alumni want to help there group grow. Good luck!
