Recruitment is a superficial process so you need to keep conversations on that level.

People can discuss whatever they wish during recruitment but remember that the discussions are brief and that you do not know the girl whom you are being introduced to. It is wise to keep your conversation points light.

These are subjects you shouldn't discuss when you first meet someone no matter what the situation. They are hot button topics so why bring them up during the most superficial time you will spend in your life. Recruitment is about how you look, dress, converse with strangers and other superficial things. Whether you agree or not this post is giving you good information.

A helpful post-it does not mean that people are anti Christian at all. Just steer clear of heavy topics in general. Keep your conversation topics light and positive as you would in any polite situation where are unfamiliar with people.

People should not take this post in a negative way. All it is saying is to keep your conversations off of too personal or controversial topics. Your visits are quick and even if you hit it off with someone you cannot know their thoughts on these topics so don't risk it. Almost every house has Bible studies, groups that party hard with boys and booze and their are campus groups for politics if that's your thing. Recruitment just isn't the time or place...
