fraternity ranking joke

by: TCU16gal

It is honestly a joke how Phi Delt and SAE always try to rank themselves so high. No one even knows these guys, they are small pledge classes, and bottom of the totem pole. Cool, you have money, wear boots all the time, and are from texas, that means very little.

I don't really think that anyone calls sae top anymore, in fact most people call them bottom. I agree that phi Delt has been non existent this year and are only consider top because of tradition but if they don't stop relying on there name and do something they will move down like sae did

This is put very well. But being here for two years, I have had very little exposure to any phi delts. They are very non existent.

Honestly I think it takes a couple years of sucking until people really take notice and one's tier seems to be affected. It the same thing for having your tier improve it really takes a couple of years of improving before people will take notice and your perception on campus is changed. If phi Delta has another bad year they will see their perception on campus fall as it already has begun to.

Well stated. It takes a couple of years to earn respect. Likewise, you can coast a few years off a old name but then people that aren't in the groups both improved and falling houses finally catch up to reality.

Very well stated. Incoming students have heard the name and past stories so they can coast a while but competition is too high for it to last.

Correct sir! PNMs have heard a name so they think they know about a group. Both of these houses are flagging and those that are working to improve are moving up. It takes action to stay on top at TCU.

No one believes SAE is top anymore but you bring up a good point about Phi Delt. So they have money -everyone in a TCU frat has $

Some old groups live off a name but it caughtes up eventually.

Like stated before people on campus know both these groups are not what they used to be but it takes a while for the truth to come out. It is finally beginning to be known in these cases.

Phi Delt was not a visible this year but they are still towering above the majority of groups.

No one is forcing people to think highly of these groups or hope to become a member of their fraternity.
