cuts during recruitment
by: IncomingWho makes the final decision on who gets cut and who gets invited back during recruitment? Does the Executive Committee, Alumni, New Member Educator, Pan Counsel...I understand groups may be different but it would be nice to know.

I'm glad to see that this question was asked. Not because there is an easy answer that fits every group but because too often we focus on who cut us instead of who placed you high on their list and could see wanting to be your sister. Friendships that last a lifetime can come in any house. That is your goal not greek letters that go on a T-shirt.

Every house is different but basically the PNMS are listed in order of preference and then that is matched with what the PNMS preference list is. That is how things are "mutual selection". Like others have said, you will have a better experience if you focus on your invites and not your cuts. Also, never leave any house that your receive an invitation to off your list. That has berm given the name "suicide". If you leave off a house, they could have been the only one that was going to invite you back and you end up with no bid. I hope this helps you out.

I hope every girl will read this. It may seem personal when you don't get asked back by a group but it isn't. The groups cannot know you enough for it to be a reflection of you as a person. Different groups place higher emphasis on different traits. Some girls will have legacies to help them out. You can't be in control so know you will end where you are wanted and be happy with those new sisters regardless of what letters they wear.

Must be a lot of truth to original post since the previous poster has resorted to using words like stupid, ridiculous, jealous, and wtf in response! Would not want to be sisters with someone who freaks and rants like that. It is much classier to chill.
