new houses

by: ???

How long does it take for a new house to really take form? When will AOII be comparable to other houses? Just wondering because of the new houses coming in. Any opinions?

The correct answer is that every chapter is different. We all know there are OLD houses here that struggle either with their involvement or class. Setting a strong groundwork and members striving for excellence is the key. Unfortunately, the older houses are not going to lend much support because they don't want to loose their standing. Finding what your chapters main goal is, setting an identity and working to get the girls to fill that mission is the answer. I think Gamma Phi and Delta Gamma are examples of newer houses who found their niche and through hard work have moved up rather quickly. Some houses never seem to find a path. AOPi has good girls and leaders who care. Define your identity/ focus and you will move up.

The first response is true. It all depends on the quality of the girls, the organization and how hard you work. We have old houses that are a mess. The same rules apply to us all.

Each group varies but I agree with other posts that it seems very early to add a new house while AOPi is still forming.

AOPi has grow with spring recruitment. By next year they should be on their way.

AOPi is settling in nicely. They will be fine when the new house comes. In fact, they will most likely grow because they won't be the new house anymore. No need for worries here.
