Who we kidding really
by: SlimLet's make sure we all understand how this works. These things are run by moms who have connections and girls that are already in the sorority who then recruit their friends from high school when they rush. It is who you know. Everyone knows this but then acts like omg I got in whatever sorority can you believe it?! Then you judge and rank based on what looks?!! The ranking are dumb and classless and the way this entire process works at TCU is broken. You end up with no diversity and sororities full of the same person from the same high school because of mommy or friends and family.

Each sorority has merit, I know people in almost every house and they are all great. Some ended up where they are because they liked it, some because they did not have connections and went through the process with no judgement. Baffles me how size of class is indicative of how good the class is. All garbage

It’s clear that you are crediting other peoples success to loopholes or connections to try and make yourself feel better. If you were really “off the charts” happy, you wouldn’t be bitter enough to make a post like this lol

Ranking Greek organizations is terrible. It is especially awful to buy into it and give it any kind of importance, especially if it is based on looks. We can't do that to other women. People want to wear their letters like a badge of honor, like if you're in a 'top' house it makes you 'top' by association. Got news for you: joining any sorority doesn't make you any hotter or more fun or smarter or more accomplished or anything other than you already are. This site doesn't help.
But Sororities can and must choose who they want. They are private social clubs, not honor societies based on merit. It's not a sign up sheet where you get to pick and then join, there are plenty of other groups like that. They can pick who they already know if they want to. It shouldn't make people so angry.

Such a poor response. I am happy with where I am in fact off the charts happy. You seemed to imply that I wasn't which is odd because it was not the point or what was said. The process is what I described for the vast majority except for you and all your friend(s)
