by: PNMwhat kinds of conversations go on during rush? i know we are supposed to just be ourselves, but what is a good conversation like?

The conversations are kind of vapid because the environment doesn't allow for much else. Your body language, attitude and being polite is most important. The advise of having something interesting to say that helps you be remembered in a positive way is no the mark.

A good conversation consists of outgoing interaction which lets your true personality shine through. Be confident but not snobby. Be authentic but not overly casual. I know these are vague answers but you can't practice this. You will either click or not and it is alright either way. You will feel comfortable when you meet a group with like values and goals. Just be yourself.

There are no tricks to this. If you are yourself and polite you should click naturally with girls in houses that are similar to you. It is kind of a gamble though because you have no control over the girl you get paired with. Honestly pray and have a heart that is open to all houses that offer you friendship. Life if too short to think you know where you belong.
