How prominent is Greek life on campus? Will I like it here if I don't rush? Will I have friends if im a GDI?

The first thing someone usually asks when you meet them on campus is "what fraternity/sororitiy are you in?" That should say a lot about the greek life here.

Over half of the members of our student population are Greek so it plays a tremendous role on campus. That said, there are also tons of speciality organizations to plug in to. I would strongly encourage ant new student to get involved and make the campus your home. If Greek organizations don't fit your personality then find another one that does. You will enjoy your college years way more.

If you are a social person and want to be involved you will like it here. There are always a lot of parties and other campus activities going on daily. Greek is a great way to get invited and be a part of the campus community but honestly there are so many opportunities that is just one choice. The majority of students do go grrrek though and it is a strong presence everywhere.

There are many ways to get involved at TCU but Greek is a big part of campus life and a great way to get involved and meet people. Competition is tough here but if you will love here if you give it a chance.
