A lot of schools down south pretty muchh require you to have recs in order for you to get a decent bid. Is Nebraska big on having recs? Do most girls have them?

It totally depends on the house. Some sororities look at recs closely, and others don't really look at them at all. They're definitely not a necessity.

In my house, recs matter if you're being voted on being let go. If you have a really good rec for our house, we may keep you solely based off of that letter. However, they aren't required and won't make a huge difference.
