UNL Greek life sucks. But you must be part of it to ever do anything

Bascially if you’re a dude and you’re not in a frat there’s no point in going here because if you’re not in a frat you won’t get to go to good tailgates, and if you’re a girl and not in Greek life it doesn’t matter my friends isn’t in a sorority and she has just as much fun at frats parties. But I feel bad for the freshman of this year because this first semester compared to last first semester is a big difference. Cops are starting to crack down. Overall the Greek system is cool and everything but it’s very cliquey.

Worst Social life in the big 10. School and cops in Nebraska suck.

If you ever want to party at this school, you have to go greek

Not a very lit school. The cops bust almost every party leaving you nothing to do on a Friday night after 11. They are shutting down tailgates. There's no bar scene until you are 21. If you're an out of state kid, I'd pick almost any other big ten or big 12 school. This place has declared a war on underage drinking. If you decide to come here, you should definitely join a house though

The Grrek life at this University is worth being a part of.

UNL is a huge greek campus. If you arent in a house it will not be as enjoyable.

This place used to be fun, but the campus hates fraternities. They'll look for any excuse to kick a fraternity off and they're suspending house owners for hosting parties. If you're joining a fraternity to have the fraternity experience, the university administration are here to ruin it for you. If you want to be in a club full of nerds who get good grades and spend all their time volunteering then that's what this campus wants. I loved my freshman year and my first semester last year but this place is turning into a bad place to be greek.
